Alzheimer’s Association Education Conference: Dementia in Depth

Are you frustrated by the difficult behaviors that can accompany dementia? Would you like to develop more effective ways of communicating with a person with Alzheimer?s? Join us to learn from dementia expert Teepa Snow, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA. Teepa is renowned for teaching techniques that help caregivers see beyond the disease process and fully connect with the person with dementia.

Attendees will learn about how brain changes affect behavior, be able to identify challenges and obstacles, and develop effective ways to communicate. This program is intended for family caregivers, health care professionals, social service professionals, long term care administrators, and others interested in learning more about Alzheimer's and dementia.

This educational offering provides 0.6 CEUs (Long Term Care Administrators, Social Workers, others) for the speaker portion of this continuing education program by the Alzheimer?s Association SC Chapter.
