Class Description

Building Better Caregivers is a 6-week workshop (Thursdays-October 2 to November 6 - 1:00 to 3:30pm) and is designed to help caregivers manage their own physical and emotional health and provide better care to their care partner.
Caregivers will learn about ways to deal with difficult emotions, manage difficult care partner behaviors, communicate with health professionals and others, plan for the future, reduce stress, prioritize self-care, and find /ask for help.

It will take place in Salisbury.

The workshop is free, but space is extremely limited. RSVP is Required.

Class Credit Information

Carolina Caring, in partnership with Trinity Living Center, Rufty Holmes Senior Center, and Centralina Area Agency on Aging, is honored to co-facilitate a six-week class called Building Better Caregivers. Ron Church and Amanda Buck will be the facilitators. This will take place on Thursday afternoons at Trinity Living Center. If you or someone you know is a caregiver, this is a must-attend class. There is no charge, but seating is limited to 14 individuals. Please call 704-216-7704 to register.
