Class Description

When someone is showing signs of dementia, it's time to talk. Often, conversations with family about changing behaviors can be challenging and uncomfortable. This Alzheimer's Association program provides tips for breaking the ice with your family so you can address some of the most common issues that are difficult to discuss: going to the doctor for a diagnosis or medical treatment, deciding when to stop driving and making legal and financial plans for future care.

Class Credit Information

A Certificate of Completion is available to any participant wishing to receive one.

Registration Information

Participants can register by clicking on the desired program in the attached flyer and completing their registration on the Alzheimer's Association's website. The program is free and all you need to register is your name, an email address and a home or work zip code. If you prefer, you can email Venita Olson at olsonvealz@gmail.com with your name, email address and zip code and she will complete your registration. Either way, you will receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link to access the program at the scheduled time.
