OBJECTIVES
Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Describe the elements of end of life symptom management including the process of prioritization, and the psychological role of symptoms.
Identify common end of life systemic symptoms with potential causes, assessment, and interventions.
Identify common end of life GI symptoms with potential causes, assessment, and interventions.
Identify common end of life respiratory symptoms with potential causes, assessment, and interventions.
TARGET AUDIENCE Licensed Nurses, Counselors and Therapist, Social Workers and interested others.

CREDIT 0.3 CEUs, 3 clock hours-AHEC, Non Social Work, Counselors and Therapists
Upstate AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center?s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this program, attendees will receive 3 contact hours.
