The Alzheimer's Association and The Palmettos Assisted Living invite you to attend Keeping Hope and Spirit Alive. Nancy Pearce, LISW-CP, Social Worker and Author of "Inside Alzheimer's" will share her most recent findings from interviews with hundreds of once overwhelmed 24/7 caregivers as to what really made a difference for them-what helped them break through their isolation and open to receiving support from others. Participants will participate in relaxing exercises and will learn practical skills and practices and that have proven helpful for many caregivers in building hope and strenghtening the spirit admist all they are doing.

This program is for caregivers and any other interested persons. No CEUs offered at this event and there is NO CHARGE to attend.
To help family members attend, a no-cost, in-home sitter for an individual with dementia can be arranged through a home care agency of choice.
For information and other services, call the Alzheimer's Association at 800-273-2555.
