The Alzheimer's Association Upstate South Carolina Chapter and Upstate AHEC are presenting the annual Alzheimer's Education Conference on Thursday May 19 at First Baptist Church in Greenville.
Featured speak is Joanne koenig-Coste, author of Learning to Speak Alzheimer's: A Groundbreaking Approach for Eveyone Dealing With the Disease. A clinical update by Dr. M.A. Memon from Spartanburg Regional Psychiatry and a session on 'handling crisis situations and hospitalization decisions' will be presented by Barbara Barham, RN.

Exhibitors will feature information and materials for a variety of services.

RNs - 6.0 contact hours .5CEUs (5.0) clock hours by Upstate AHEC and meets SC AHEC Best Practice Standards. Also Long Term Care Administrator Credit has been approved.
