The reality is that most people will need long-term care of some kind or another during retirement.
Traditional Long-Term Care Insurance can be costly but not as expensive as not having taken the step to protect yourself and your loved ones from the possibility of incurring care expenses out of pocket.
This approach is ignored by many because the premium payments can be a “use-it-or-lose-it” proposition, but in terms of your assets and the standard of living they provide for, it may also be “have-it-or-lose-it” protection.
