Purpose: Provide participants with knowledge and skills to prepare them to take the progressive critical care nurse certification exam.

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
? Describe the requirements for taking the Progressive Critical Care Nurse certification exam and test taking strategies.
? Discuss the theory of AACN?s synergy model as it relates to the critically ill patient.
? Define patient centered care.
? Discuss the components of a complete adult physical assessment.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Licensed Nurses preparing to take the Progressive Critical Care Nurse certification exam or updating their skills.

FEE
$150 for non members; $50 for AHEC members

Licensed Nurses: Upstate AHEC is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by The South Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center?s Commission on Accreditation.

Upon successful completion of this program, attendees will receive 12.5 contact hours.
