Class Description

You'll know it when you see it, right? Join Mara Allport with SC Safe Seniors to review common signs, symptoms, and risk factors for an older adult facing abuse or mistreatment. We'll discuss how to assess these cases with tools for screening and ways you can incorporate screening into your interaction with clients to assure they are staying safe as they age. Lastly, we will talk about what to do once you've identified a case, whether that's Adult Protective Services or another community resource that can support that person through this situation.
