Class Description

The Identifying and Referring Elder Mistreatment Training is a concentrated overview of identifying and referring elder mistreatment for healthcare providers and professionals working with older adults. This training covers the signs, symptoms, risk factors, and mental health effects of mistreatment, identification techniques, reporting, and referring resources. This training is currently offered online via video conferencing by training program manager, Mara Allport from the SC Safe Seniors program at MUSC.
