This is Part I of a two-part Alzheimer's Association education program on Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer's. The diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease makes planning for the future more important than ever. Concerns about care provision, costs of care and programs that can help offset costs mean families need accurate information about legal and financial planning specific to the disease.

• Goals of legal planning
• Advance directives

• Durable Powers of Attorney
• Living Wills
• Wills
• Living Trusts
• Making choices as a Care Team
• Mediation
• Guardianship
• Special Considerations for Unmarried Domestic Partners
• Putting Legal Plans in Place
• Legal Resources

The program is designed to run approximately 1 hour including Q&A.

A Certificate of Completion is available to any participant wishing to receive one.

TO REGISTER, send an email to olsonvealz@gmail.com with your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and HOME OR WORK ZIP CODE. You will be registered on the Alzheimer's Association's website and you will receive an email confirmation with a Zoom link to access the program.
