Class Description

Powerful Tools for Caregivers Telehealth (PTC) classes is an EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM designed to help family caregivers learn to take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend who has a chronic illness. By taking care of your own health and well-being, you become a better caregiver. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse, or friend who lives at home, in a long-term care facility, or across the country. Classes are held once a week for six weeks and are led by experienced class leaders. Class participants are given The Caregiver Helpbook to accompany the class and provide additional caregiver resources. The classes build on each other so it is helpful if you can attend all 6 classes.
