Start DateApril 23, 2020
Class Time6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
It can sometimes feel overwhelming to take care of another person, but neglecting your own well-being can be harmful to you both. Especially now in our current "Social Distancing" culture we have found ourselves in. Trying to handle everything by yourself can lead to burnout, depression and health problems. You may think that no one understands; but holding in your feelings will only make you feel isolated and neglected. It's OK to open up and seek out help. In order to take good care of your family, you must also take care of yourself. The following presentation will help you become a healthy caregiver. We will identify:
*common signs of stress & the health issues related to self-care neglect
*ways to manage stress
*stress relief ideas
