“When Forgetting Is Not Just Forgetting”

The Alzheimer's Association is hosting an educational program entitled, ?When Forgetting is Not Just Forgetting?, with presenter Dr. Mary Hughes, a Greenville neurologist with Neuroscience Associates, Greenville Hospital System, Thursday, March 17, 9:00am-12:00pm, County Council Chambers, Greenville County Square, 301 University Ridge. Following Dr. Hughes? presentation, a panel discussion on ?The Effects of Dementia and Long Term Planning? will be presented by Leah Belle, Occupational Therapist and Certified Driver Rehabilitation Therapist with Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital and Beth Des Jardins, Attorney at Law with South Carolina Legal Services in Greenville. Breakfast will be provided by Lutheran Hospice and RoseCrest Retirement Community. There is NO COST for this program, but donations are accepted. Pre-registration is required. To help family members attend, a no-cost, in-home sitter for a loved one with dementia can be arranged through the Alzheimer?s Association.
