Please join the Alzheimer's Association, South Carolina Chapter, for this annual African-American community education seminar in Anderson. The program is free and open to the public but reservations are necessary for the snack supper to be served at 5 PM prior to the program.

Dr. Hughes is the Director of Neuroscience Associates of the Greenville Hospital System. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Hughes will discuss Alzheimer?s disease and related dementia and how it changes the brain and behavior.

Dr. Robena Egemonye is an educator from Anderson County who has written a children?s book entitled When My Grandma Sings. She will read her book that was written to help children understand why some people have trouble remembering. It educates as to ways to support the family member who is experiencing Alzheimer?s disease or other dementia.
