When is a Memory Problem Dementia? A CME Conference for Healthcare Providers

This CME conference, jointly sponsored by the Alzheimer's Association and the USC School of Medicine-Palmetto Health Richland CME Organization, is especially for physicians and other health care providers interested in diagnosing and managing patients with dementia. Participants will learn about evidence-based clinical guidelines for diagnosis, distinguishing dementia from other disorders, evaluating medications that may induce memory problems, and making appropriate referrals to caregivers regarding care, safety, and resources.

The University of South Carolina School of Medicine - Palmetto Health Richland Continuing Medical Education Organization designates this educational activity for a maximum of 6.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
