Spartanburg, SC?On Tuesday, October 7, 2008 Mary Black Health System will host the 50+ Expo at West Gate Mall from 7:30am to 2:00pm. Over 40 health and commercial vendors will participate.

The morning kicks off at 7:30 am with a fitness walk sponsored by Windsor Health Group. All participants will receive a complimentary water bottle and pedometer.

Various health screenings also begin at 7:30am and continue to 11:00am. Blood pressure screenings along with Prostate Blood Screens for men will be offered free. Other blood health screenings including Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, (Review of cardiac, liver & kidney function), Cardiac Risk Profile, (Cholesterol Review), Blood Cell Profile, Thyroid Screen and Flu Shots will be available for a small fee.

Entertainment featuring line dancers from the Shepherd?s Center, singer Jerome Young, Spartanburg?s Senior Idol, magician Steve Holt and Mary Black Health System CEO and soloist, Phillip Wright will highlight the Expo.
