Even though this ride event that will raise well over one million and will be completed over this coming weekend, the FIGHT to END Alzheimer's will not!!

About Ride to End ALZ - South Carolina
The Alzheimer's Association Ride to End ALZ is a cycling event to directly impact the pace and momentum behind the fight to end Alzheimer's. Inspired by science and driven by a determination to end this disease, participants in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina raise funds and awareness to advance research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's, as well as the care and support efforts of the South Carolina Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Fully supported, on and off the bike
Traveling from Upstate South Carolina to the Charleston coast, Ride to End ALZ South Carolina's unique 3-day Group Ride features incredible support and camaraderie. Our Ride Ambassadors, staff and volunteer leadership committee are committed to providing fundraising and training support from registration to the day of Ride. And once Ride weekend arrives, we take care of all the details. Our dedicated volunteers and support crew will make sure you get to the finish line! See The Experience for even more details.

Participants in the Group Ride are required to make a registration donation to get started and agree to meet the fundraising minimum of $750. The Virtual Challenge does not require a registration donation but fundraising is encouraged. Volunteers are not required to fundraise but may do so by registering for the Virtual Challenge.

A ride to fuel research
As the world's largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's disease research, the Alzheimer's Association is setting the pace of the field with innovation and investment — and you're setting the pace with each pedal stroke.

Right now, there is no shortage of ideas in Alzheimer's research — only dollars. But you can help change that. The funds you raise through Ride to End ALZ directly impact the Association's ability to accelerate science toward methods of treatment and prevention for Alzheimer's and other dementias.

If you would like to support the ride, you can donate or join us in Simpsonville tomorrow morning to cheer on the riders, or be at Newberry College at the finish of day 1. Day 2, we head from Newbery to Orangeburg, SC after a long hot 90 miles in the South Carolina heat. Day 3, we depart from Orangeburg and head to Charleston for a nice long 102 mile finish at the new Mount Pleasant Waterfront Memorial Park. Cyclist will be arriving at all locations at approx. 11:30 each day and will be rolling in until 3 pm.
