Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 18, at 3:00PM at Pendleton Manor, 414 Summit Drive, Greenville.
Our host is Susan Blair, Executive Director, who will give us an overview of services offered and invite us to tour their newly renovated community.

Jeff McAninch, Certified Senior Prevention Specialist fromThe Phoenix Center of Greenville, on behalf of the ECHO (Empowering Communities for Healthy Outcomes) coalition, will explain the ECHO grant and how we need those working with the elderly to be aware of medications and how to dispose of them properly. Jeff will share lots of interesting information on the prevalence of opioid abuse and its consequences on the Upstate. ECHO is administered by the South Carolina Department of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services. The 5 year grant was awarded to 4 counties in South Carolina in 2015 to focus on prescription drug abuse in our county.
Thanks to Stephanie Stephenson, Carolina Center for Behavioral Health, for coordinating this program.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, April 18th at 3:00.
Adult Interagency Council is an open group of professionals working with people who are disabled or aged in the Upstate area. The purpose of the group is to learn about resources in the area that will help the people in our community. Professionals working with these groups are invited to attend.
