Our next Adult Interagency Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 3:00PM at The Crossings at Five Forks, 345 Five Forks Road, Simpsonville.
Our hosts at The Crossings (Anna Cain, Lisa Lee, and Christy Chambers) will tell us about their community and offer tours following the meeting.
Jerri Davison with the non-profit agency Able South Carolina will be with us to inform us on the broad range of services, including information, advocacy, peer support, transition services, and independent living skills training. Able SC is a Center for Independent Living, an organization not about “helping†people with disabilities, but built on the central concept of self-empowerment.
Adult Interagency Council is an open group of professionals working with people who are disabled or aged in the Upstate area. The purpose of the group is to learn about resources in the area that will help the people in our community. Professionals working with these groups are invited to attend.
Reservations are not required but appreciated.
