The Alzheimer's Association presents a free virtual workshop for nonprofit organizations on Alzheimer's and dementia, risk factors, the impact of the disease and resources from us and other community organizations that could benefit your own mission and those who you serve.

Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in America and the 5th for seniors. Over 6.5 million Americans are living with the disease and it disproportionately affects women, minorities and other groups. Since Alzheimer's is a progressive brain disease, we are all at risk. Attendees will learn about the difference Alzheimer's and dementia, the major risk factors and gain resources from us and other community organizations that could benefit your own mission and those who you serve, with a focus on work with seniors, in healthcare, education, with diverse populations and within the faith communities.
