Description
Please join us in lighting ?candles of care? for all those in our community whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer?s disease or a related illness at a Commemorative Candle Lighting hosted by RoseCrest Retirement Community on Thursday, November 10, 2005.
The ceremony is part of a National Commemorative Candle Lighting initiated by the Alzheimer?s Foundation of America in recognition of National Alzheimer?s Disease Awareness Month. Organizations across the U.S. are participating in this unique event?offering individuals touched by Alzheimer?s disease and related dementias the opportunity to join in spirit and solidarity at multiple services on the same day. As the incidence of Alzheimer?s disease rises, it is extremely fitting to unite the community in this heartfelt ceremony to remember those individuals who have passed away and those families currently affected by the brain disorder.
RoseCrest Retirement Community will be hosting the inspirational Candle Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, November 10 at 6:00P.M. at RoseCrest Retirement Community, 200 Fortress Drive Inman, SC. It will include a candle lighting ceremony, recital of names in memory and recognition, readings by various religious leaders, and the sharing of personal stories by those directly impacted by Alzheimer?s disease.
We would welcome your support of the estimated five million Americans with Alzheimer?s disease, including those in our own community.
