Senior Action Presents 9th Annual Senior Artist Show
Arts Alive Exhibition 2005. This annual art exhibit showcases various forms of art work of those 55 and beyond. The event is free and open to the public. Arts Alive will have 150 pieces of art from over 50 seniors artists. Art works to include multiple forms of original creations in the areas off painting, pottery, sculpture, basketry, photography, & stained glass.
The show is a People's Choice and you will vote for your favorite piece in each category. Best in Show will be chosen by Juror, R.J. Jones, author and illustrator of Legend of the Redneck Frog.
This year Arts Alive will also have the first ever Basement Art Sale. Selected pieces of artwork will be on sale in the basement of Sears Shelter and a portion of the sales will be donated to Senior Action by the artists.
