In this adaptation of Neil Simon’s classic coming-of-age play, Biloxi Blues tells the story of young Army recruit Eugene Morris Jerome as he travels from Brooklyn to Biloxi, Mississippi for boot camp during World War II. On his quest to find love, achieve fame, and attain his manhood, Eugene is joined by a diverse band of questionably-talented recruits, an old-school drill instructor, an enterprising prostitute, and a girl who might be the one.

Directed by acclaimed on-set Hollywood film coach Bob Luke, Citadel class of 1976, Biloxi Blues is a full-scale production of South of Broadway Theatre Company in partnership with The Citadel’s Fine Arts Program. Fun fact: this was last performed on campus in 1988!
