Objective(s):
Describe ways to provide ongoing support and encouragement to home caregivers and connect them to additional community resources.

List ways the home caregivers can manage stress and juggle multiple responsibilities.

Discuss verbal and nonverbal ways to support effective communication between the patient and the family caregiver that can improve decision making and alleviate stress in both parties.

Credit: 0.2 CEUs, 2 clock hours-AHEC, Non Social Work, Counselors and Therapists.
This CE activity is approved for 2 contact hours for licensed nurses.
This CE activity is approved for 2.4 contact hours for Physical and Occupational Therapists.
Target Audience: Healthcare providers that work in a Home Health or Hospice setting.
