For Caregivers and Family members of those affected by
Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias

This series provides helpful information to those caring for loved ones affected by memory health conditions. Although you do not need to attend each class, the sessions build on previous sessions to increase caregivers’ knowledge of maintaining their loved one’s independence.

These classes are taught by the Professional Team Members of the Memory Health Program, and other community professionals, including Nurse Practitioners& Licensed Medical Social Worker.

Class Dates and Topics: (all classes are from 6:00pm - 8:00pm)

Thursday September 7 - Alzheimer’s, Aging, and Assessment
Tuesday September 12 - Behaviors, Beliefs, and the Baggage We Bring
Thursday September 21 - Communication, Caring, and Coping
Thursday September 28 - Driving, Dangers, and Drugs
Thursday October 5 - Elder Law Attorney, Neil Rabon
Tuesday October 10 - Expectations, Emergencies, and Enjoyment
(*NOTE: not all classes fall on a Thursday)
