When your loved one has dementia it's hard for them to tell you what they are thinking or what they want, It's also hard for them to understand you. Learn why communication problems happen and ways to improve communication. Meet other caregivers having similar communication problems. Caregivers who learn new communication skills are likely to reduce their own and their loved one's frustration.
Dementia Dialogues is a 5 session course that runs Sept. 11 - Oct 9 at this same location on various topics. Caregivers that want to learn new skills on taking care of their loved ones are welcome to attend one or more of the sessions.
