Early Stage Dementia Support Group seeks participants for fall sessions 2008

An Early Stage Dementia Support Group, sponsored by the Alzheimer?s Association, will meet for seven sessions between September and December. Sessions last for an hour and a half on select Thursday mornings (10-11:30 AM) at First Baptist Church in Pendleton. A team of experienced leaders will provide two groups--one for persons with dementia and a separate group for care partners.

Groups provide activities and discussion. There is no charge.

Interested persons should contact Gail Marion at the Alzheimer?s Association office in Anderson (224-3045 or 1-800-273-2555) by August 22. The meeting is open only to those who have interviewed ahead of time.
