Encountering Alzheimer’s-A Guide for First Responders

As the number of people living with Alzheimer's disease and dementia continues to grow, so does your likelihood of encountering someone with the disease in your community. You may come into contact with a person with dementia in a number of situations. This program is aimed to train first responders, however, it is excellent training for anyone.

You are invited to attend our complimentary lunch and training:

You will learn how to:
Identify dementia
React to someone wandering
Recognize signs of abuse and neglect
