Ethics in End of Life Care

Objectives
At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
Identify three components to ethical practice;
Identify how social construction theory supports our understanding of how health, illness, and death collide to create complex transitioning of ethical principles into ethical practice behaviors/attitudes;
Describe two principles of futile care specific to the ethics of benefits/burdens;
Identify three professional assessment strategies to assist with improving ethical care.
