Evergreen Place, Rolling Green Village?s special care unit for those suffering from Alzheimer?s, dementia or other memory-related diseases, will host a free Veterans benefits seminar November 1 from 4-5 p.m. Jan Redd with Greenville County Veterans Affairs will discuss the federal, state and other benefits available to Veterans and their families. The seminar is free and open to the public. Veterans benefits include, but are not limited to, disability compensation, life insurance, health benefits, death benefits, various tax exemptions and more. In addition, widow pensions, home loan guarantees and other pension plans are available. The seminar, sponsored by Evergreen Place, will be held November 1 from 4-5 p.m. in the activities room at Rolling Green Village.
