AnMed Health and the AnMed Health Rehabilitation Hospital have joined efforts to hold a free stroke seminar for the community in observance of National Stroke Awareness Month in May. The seminar will take place 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the AnMed Health Oglesby Center Healthy Futures Room, 2000 East Greenville Street, Anderson, S.C. A light meal will be served for preregistered participants. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. To register, call (864) 512-6255.
Survivors of stroke will share their stories and the classic symptoms will be discussed. Attendees will have a chance to get their blood pressure checked.
