What do Donnie Osmond and Carl Sobocinski have in common? How about Erin Andrews and BJ Koonce? In their own right, these people are superstars, whose dancing skills mesmerize us - or soon will! Capitalizing on the popularity of ?Dancing with the Stars,? Senior Action will be staging ?Dancing with the Carolina Stars,? a premiere charity event that will tap local ?Celebrities? who will compete in this dancing and fundraising competition.

This interactive fundraiser will take place October 2, 2010 at the Embassy Suites Golf Resort and Conference Center Hotel and the local ?Celebrities? will include community notables who will be paired with professional dancers to train and compete for the public?s votes. Unlike the average charity cocktail party, ?Dancing with the Carolina Stars? will be an engaging and interactive event, fusing the feel of an old Hollywood supper club with the excitement of live music, dancing, and friendly competition. Even those who cannot attend can get involved by voting for their favorite couples before and during the event via the event website.

?Dancing with the Carolina Stars? is pleased to announce the following Stars have committed to dance for the event:

Betty Farr, CEO, Greenco Beverage
