Hello Industry Friends:

It truly takes a village to take care of our seniors! I was talking to my industry friend, Blake Schooley, the other day and we were sharing how much it means to us, to work in this industry with such good humans! We know that for some, it may just be a "job".  But for many, it's a calling.

We were talking about the need to have a different type of networking group.  Another industry friend, Jean Civil, introduced me to the concept of "Netgiving".  This is a group that gives back to the community and supports the people working in the industry.  It's an event where you celebrate your successes, ask for support and ideas for any challenges, and also keep everyone up to date with announcements.  Really, more of a fellowship and friendship group.

We will be sponsoring different groups in the community by helping with donations of things they need, to take care of the people they support in the community.  If you are interested in being a part of this group, we will be meeting at Basilico Italiano Restaurant 10020 Edison Square Dr. Concord, NC 28027 the last Tuesday of the month from 4:00-6:00. The first event will be February 28th. We hope people from Mecklingburg, Cabarrus, and Iredell counties will join us.
