Learn how to stay focused on the moment and the reality of your loved one with dementia at this workshop lead by an experienced improv actor (Alcemey Theater Company). Training will benefit family members, neighbors and friends of persons with dementia as well as nurses' aids and other professionals working with senior citizens. Demonstrations, role plays, and discussions will help you to say "yes" more and enjoy your time with persons living with dementia more. Caregivers who take improv training report that their loved one with dementia is happier after they implement the new skills and that less conflict happens in their interactions with their loved one.
