Each year, the Alzheimer's Association hosts an Alzheimer's Advocacy Day in Raleigh, NC. This event brings together caregivers and advocates from across the state and gives our cause a powerful voice. This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11th, and we'd love for you to join us.
The Alzheimer’s Association in North Carolina calls on state residents to turn the state capitol purple for Alzheimer’s. North Carolina Alzheimer's Advocacy Day is designed to move legislators to action on Alzheimer's and dementia policy that will improve the lives of North Carolina families impacted by the growing burden of Alzheimer's.
During Alzheimer's Advocacy Day, you will:
- Bring awareness to the importance of the Alzheimer’s Association's public policy priorities.
- Engage in discussions with elected officials.
- Tell your personal story to key decision-makers affecting policies for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
Your unique voice is more important than ever this year! We need your help sharing why this cause is so important to constituents like you and your family. Register today to learn how you can make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s in North Carolina.
