Description
Advice on how to stay healthy, eat right and keep fit to prevent diseases that happen more often with age, such as Alzheimer's disease.
There is no known cure for Alzheimer's and many of the other diseases which have symptoms of dementia. Research now offers many clues about the development of Alzheimer's disease. The good news is that these findings raise hope that by making simple lifestyle modifications it may be possible to improve brain health. Brain health plays an essential role in every part of daily living: thinking, remembering, working and playing -- even sleeping. By adopting brain healthy lifestyle choices you may be able to delay the onset of Alzheimer's disease, slow its progession or even prevent it all together.
Presented by Denise Dickinsen, Director of Program Development for Lutheran Homes of South Carolina.
