Join LSN for our Monthly Membership Meeting on Tuesday, July 11th. Networking with begin at 8:30am, Meeting will start at 9:00am.
This month's Guest Speaker is Scott Rider.
Scott was born and raised in the Columbus Ohio area. Married to his high school sweetheart, Kelly, they have three children, Katie, Jacob and Emma. Scott is a graduate of Ohio State University where he was twice the Captain of Men's Track & Field Team, 3-time Big Ten Champion, a 2-time All-American and competed in the 1984 US Olympic Trials. In fact, Scott still holds the men's outdoor record at Ohio State in the 800 meters to this day!
Scott was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 17 years ago and he has made it his personal mission to encourage those who are battling Parkinson's and increase awareness about PD. Today, Scott resides in Beaufort, SC, serves on the Development Board of the Parkinson's Foundation, is a Parkinson's Foundation Aware and Care Ambassador and a frequent speaker at corporate events all across the USA.
Always working to create new ways to increase awareness about Parkinson's, Scott will share with us information about a few of his recent and upcoming projects such as Southern Living adaptive Cottage, Parkinson's & Pickleball and Parkinson's Across America.
As a reminder we will be meeting at Trident Technical College.
Building 920 - The entrance is at the back of Building 920 and has plenty of parking.
