Medicare Prescription Drug Plan Open House

On Friday, October 28 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, seniors and caregivers are invited to an open house to meet with representatives from companies offering Medicare prescription drug plans. Meeting one on one with theses representatives, seniors should be able to identify the plan to which they would prefer to subscribe.

To help seniors sort through the plans available to them prior to the event, SENIOR Solutions will also offer free assistance to seniors who wish to use the agency?s computer lab to access Medicare?s online plan research tools. Computer lab appointments will be scheduled from Monday, October 24, 2005 until October 27, 2005 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Seniors should bring with them a list of their medications with the correct spelling of the name of the drug, the dosage they take, and the retail cost (cost before insurance).

In addition, SENIOR Solutions computer labs will be open to the public for plan research at our Jim Ed Rice Center on November 1, at our Seneca site on November 9, and our Williamston site on November 10. Assistance will be provided from 1:00 until 4:00 pm on each particular day.
