RoseCrest Retirement Community will host its 1st annual ?Moo?mory Madness fundraising event on Saturday, August 27th, 2005 from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at RoseCrest Retirement Community in Inman. Proceeds from the four-hour event will benefit the Alzheimer?s Association 2005 Memory Walk to be held on Saturday, September 10th, 2005 from 10:00AM until 2:00PM at Wofford College. In addition, proceeds will also benefit the Lutheran Homes Foundation for the RoseCrest Endowment. The Lutheran Homes Foundation is a non-profit organization that manages and utilizes in-kind community giving to offer subsidized care, equipment, & benefits for RoseCrest Retirement Community residents.
?Moo?mory Madness will feature a variety of ongoing events throughout the day including live entertainment, raffles, food, and a ?cow patty bingo? featuring ?Murray the Cow,? RoseCrest?s signature landmark owned by Mr. Tom Strunk of Belcher Road. Prizes to be raffled include a one-year membership with tanning to Gold?s Gym of Spartanburg, two $50 gift certificates to Helzberg Diamonds, and other great items generously donated from local businesses including Ron?s Pharmacy of Boiling Springs, Advance Auto Parts of Boiling Springs, Foothills Marine of Greenville, Woodfin Ridge Golf & Country Club of Boiling Springs, and many local restaurants. Please join us for a day of food, fun, and fellowship as we take a stand to end Alzheimer?s Disease.
