This activity is for those people living with early/mid-stage of dementia and a guest.

Please join us the 4th Thursday of every month. The group is a great opportunity to meet new friends on the same journey as you. It is a relaxed and fun setting. The participants should have the ability to participate in simple and fun activities in a small group. The group will “MEET-UP” at various locations each month in Anderson County. (November and December, the group will meet the 3rd Thursday due to the holidays)

This month: Everyone enjoys a good story! And who doesn’t love a good storyteller!? Stories can directly touch the heart, opening it to new ideas & emotions. Judy Seeley loves to tell humorous stories & is always looking for amusing SC folklore. Her stories range from traditional folk tales to her own family stories.
Please join the Alzheimer’s Association’s NEW Early –Stage Engagement group, The Connections Meet-Up Group!! This group is intended for those people living with early/mid-stage dementia & a guest (this could be their family, friends or professional companion). This group is a great way to get connected with others on the same journey and learn about local resources. They say that “variety is the spice of life” so let’s add some to yours!

The group meets the 4th Thursday of the month (please note: it will be the 3rd Thursday for November/December) at 2pm; however, to keep things interesting, the location and activities vary.
