Pickens County Meals on Wheels is excited to be hosting our 5th Annual 5K Glow Run. The race will take place in front of the McKissick Center on Hwy 93 and end at the rear of our building on Edgemont Avenue. We will be holding a “Glow Attire Contest” at 7:00pm where participants are encouraged to be creative with their Glow Attire. Winners will be determined by the crowd’s loudest cheer and awards will be given to First and Second place.

The timed race will begin at 7:30 and we welcome walkers to follow in the rear of the lineup. Awards will be given to Males and Females in the First, Second and Third Place finishers in two age brackets, 25 and under & 26 and over. A post-race snack will be provided along with a “selfie-station” with UV lighting to post your glow pics on social media! All proceeds raised will go to PCMOW. Cost to participate is $25 for ages 21 and over, $20 for ages 20 and under.

Pickens County Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to making sure that no senior is left isolated or hungry. In 2021 we provided 86,160 meals to over 600 senior neighbors in Pickens County. Our budget relies on fundraising and donations to help us continue to provide meals and a friendly safety check to our homebound seniors.
