Class Description
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an educational program designed to help family caregivers take care of themselves while caring for a relative or friend who has a chronic illness. You will benefit from this class whether you are helping a parent, spouse, or friend who lives at home, in a nursing home, or across the country. The class runs for six weeks on Wednesday, April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13 and 20th, 2020 from 10:00 am - 12:30 pm. The classes build on each other so it is important to try to make all six classes if at all possible. You will receive a Caregiver Helpbook that is full of information you can refer back to after the classes. You will also receive handouts each week which pertain to the subject of that particular class. There is no charge for the workshop or materials. It is free to family caregivers.
