The Alzheimer’s Association is seeking input from individuals and family members impacted by Alzheimer’s or related dementia. This will be a part of a broader Community Needs Assessment on Alzheimer’s and Dementia in Orangeburg County. The free meeting will be held at Longwood Plantation Assisted Living/Memory Care.
Family members within the county are asked to share their experiences accessing resources, healthcare and other support services for someone with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or Mild
Cognitive Impairment, as well as weigh in on opportunities, barriers or unmet needs in the community. Feedback shared at this event will help identify unmet needs and potential solutions through community programming. Attendees will also learn about resources and discover volunteer opportunities to support families affected by this disease.

Participants are asked to register in advance at https://bit.ly/AlzFamilyForums.
