This year Brookdale Carriage Club is having a FUN fundraiser to raise money for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! We are going to have a Festival of Flamingos. We are selling Flamingos for $20 for you to decorate and we will also put your company name on the Flamingo.

I am so excited about the response that we have already received for our Festival of Flamingos. We have a few companies that are having competitions internally decorating their Flamingos, others that are decorating in honor of a loved one with Alzheimer’s, etc. What great ideas!

We will have 3 events planned in September (dates will be sent out a later time)

1) Festival of Flamingos on Old Providence Road: The flamingos will be all along Old Providence Road in front of Brookdale Carriage Club between 10-12 and we will also be selling Hawaiian BBQ plates to raise funds for The Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
2) We will have an internal event for our residents outside throughout our community to enjoy the Festival of Flamingos as they social distance
3) Depending on COVID restrictions we will still be planning our End of Summer Luau which will also have the Flamingos displayed.

If you have not already RSVP’d for your Flamingo, please RSVP to that I can get you your Flamingo(S). Your business will be promoted and you will also be supporting The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. We will be selling Flamingos throughout July and August and then start displaying them in September.
