As the holidays approach and we prepare to welcome the New Year, just a reminder that we have no meeting in January. What a wonderful time to relax, recharge, and enjoy the season with loved ones.

We will see you all at our February meeting which will be Wednesday, February 5th from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

2025 COMMUNITY PARTNER: Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Project Lifesaver

A little bit about this amazing partner. Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program operated internationally by public safety agencies. It is strategically designed for “at risk” individuals prone to the life-threatening behavior of wandering. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely responses to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander due to a cognitive condition.

We are asking that you bring to our February meeting and the meetings that follow your spare change! Whether it is the 5 pennies in the backseat, the spare change in your cup holder or the $10 you found in the pocket of your coat this morning! It ALL helps. We will have collection containers on each of the tables at our meetings and hope to fill them up!

Please renew your USN membership! Your USN membership runs from January to December and it's renewal time. You can pay online at the Upstate Senior Network website and click on membership and renew or see Gail at one of the upcoming meetings.

Even though we will not see each other in January in Pickens we do look forward to seeing you at one of the other meetings. Remember, your membership entitles you to visit 5 meetings a month ~ great way to kick off networking in 2025.
