In recognition of family caregivers, the SC Department on Aging will host a hybrid Family Caregiver Conference, November 15, 2022, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Columbia International University (CIU), located on 7435 Monticello Road, Columbia, SC. The event is free, lunch will be provided to in-person attendees (seating is limited). Discussion topics includes:

• The importance of faith-based communities’ support for family caregivers
• Tools for caregiving and self-care
• The importance of respite care

The event is designed for family caregivers but professionals are welcome to attend. Registration is required for both virtual and in-person attendees.
