Join us for the Sixth Annual Ugly Sweater 5K Dash in Summerville hosted by The ARK, Alzheimer’s Family Support Services on Saturday, 12/2.
Participants are invited to wear their most festive holiday sweater because there will be a costume contest, a family activity, pictures with Buddy The Elf, and concessions available for purchase from The Rustic Muffin Food Truck. All race proceeds fund programs such as memory screenings, resource fairs, educational workshops, and support groups in Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, and Orangeburg counties, plus respite centers in Harleyville and Summerville.

Registration for the 5K run/walk is $35 until November 30 at 5:59 PM, then the price will increase to $40 for the day-of registration. The one-mile stroll is $10 or $30 for a group of four. Drive-through registration and packet pickup will be on Dec. 1 from noon to 6 p.m. at 502 West 5th North Street, Summerville (corner of Hwy 78 and Hickory Street).
