In recognition of family caregivers, the SC Department on Aging will host a hybrid Family Caregiver Conference, entitled, "Reenergizing Our Purpose", November 15, 2022, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Columbia International University (CIU), located on 7435 Monticello Road, Columbia, SC. The event is free, lunch will be provided to in-person attendees (seating is limited). Discussion topics includes:

• The importance of faith-based communities’ support for family caregivers
• Tools for caregiving and self-care
• The importance of respite care
• Resources for caregivers

The deadline for those wanting to attend in-person has been extended to Friday, November 11. Professional caregivers are welcome to attend.
