Please join us for our second meeting of the year! We are off to a great start after hearing from our community partner, Laurens County Cancer Association, at the last meeting.

We will have Investigator Haupfear from the Laurens County Sheriff Department speaking about Project Lifesaver. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, autism,
and other related conditions or disorders.

Our lunch sponsor will be Mary Paylor with The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health. The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health provides teens, adults, and senior adults with comprehensive treatment for a range of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. CCBH also offers integrated programs to address the needs of patients with dual-diagnosis (or co-occurring disorders). The programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.

We are still taking COVID-19 precautions: mask wearing, social distancing and providing boxed lunches. Please be sure to RSVP by Friday February 12th so we will have the right number of lunches. Also, if you have not signed up to be a lunch sponsor, please email me and we can get you signed up (there will also be a sign up form at the meeting).
